Current Liabilities are short term obligations that must certain criteria before they are considered current. A company is expected to pay the liability within a year.

Examples of current liabilities are:
  • Short-term notes payable

  • Long term debt due within one year

  • Accounts Payable

  • Unearned Revenues

  • Accrued Liabilities

    • Taxes Payable

    • Salaries and Wages Payable

    • Interest Payable
